Children, Youth, & Young Families

At St. Mary’s Kerrisdale, children and young people are welcomed as full participants in worship. Families are encouraged to sit where children can see, hear, and take part in singing, prayer, and other parts of the service. A comfortable space is available for little ones to play, draw, or rest while remaining connected to the gathered community. Children and young people are also invited to contribute their gifts—whether by helping lead, engaging in creative ways, or simply being present—because their voices, energy, and presence enrich our shared life of faith.

Children's Soft Space

A cozy “soft space” is available at the front right of the sanctuary for young children. Here they can colour, play, look at books, and rest, while still feeling part of the worship service. This space allows children to engage with the service in their own way, close to the gathered community and alongside their family.
