Evensong in Honour of Freedom Sunday

Choral Evensong
in Honour of Freedom Sunday

Based on the Canadian Book of Common Prayer (1962), this traditional Anglican Evensong invites worshippers to reflect and worship through the beauty of choral music. In honour of "Freedom Sunday," this contemplative service will include musical selections to help worshippers contemplate the history of human trafficking and slavery in Canada today.

Evensong Music

Opening Hymn: Go Down, Moses

Versicles: Humphrey Clucas

Psalm 63: Michael Joncas

Canticles: George Dyson, Evening Service in F

St. Mary's has just joined forces with three other Anglican parishes in the diocese to present an evensong somewhere in Vancouver every Sunday of the month.  St. Mary's will be presenting Evensong on the Fourth Sunday of each month through April.
